This is my interpretation...

La verdad que este tema me llamó la atención de entre los 2 CDs que me bajé para escuchar. Mika canta demsiado bien, convina su amplio registro con impecables falsetes, lo que le dan un estilo diferente al de todos los cantantes que existen; además de realizar canciones con un amplio espectro musical, ya que no sólo se queda en el pop clásico sino que agrega voces casi corales (suena como gospel) e instrumentos de orquesta (además del piano, vientos, chelo... alguno me olvido). Pero sin dudas lo que más me cautivó de esta canción es la letra...

does it really matter
if half of what you said is true
and half of what i didnt do
could be different would it make it better
if we forget the things we know
would we have somewhere to go
the only way is down i can see that now
